Watermelon radishes are an heirloom variety of root vegetable and a member of the Brassica family. These round vegetables have a pale greenish-white colour outer skin, and an interesting varied pink inner colour that becomes more intense as it approaches the center.
Watermelon radishes are crispy and tender, with a slightly mild and sweet flavour.
